26/02/25 Quilt as you go with Ann Hibberd 10am - 4pm
Quilt as you go on Wednesday 26th February 2025
Not only is quilt-as-you-go great for making projects quickly, they are perfectly suited for anyone who has ever wondered how to get a large quilt sandwich through the throat of a domestic sewing machine.
With quilt-as-you-go (QAYG), you do the quilting on blocks "as you go", then join the blocks at the end to assemble the quilt.
This method is ideal for using up scraps or for joining more traditional blocks. For speed and ease of teaching, the block in this workshop uses strips - the one illustrating the day is made with 2.5" strips ( Jelly Roll).
Sewing machine needed.
Please note: This workshop is not suitable for anyone under 18.
