The Schmetz Universal Needle is suited to all-purpose use. The Black Super Universal Needle has a reinforced blade, extra large eye, deep scarf, and a slightly rounded point. This needle also has anti-adhesive coating (NIT) that resists sticky stabilizers, fusibles, and adhesives. If stitching on light or white fabrics or threads, test first for excess residue
