The Omnigrid 4in x 4in ruler with 1/8in grid is popular for miniature quilts; it is also used for small drafting in detail, and to cut and square blocks 4in and under. In general, Omnigrid square rulers are used for secondary cutting of strips, and to square up finished quilt blocks.
