The hall is a work of art itself, and the garden topiary is a favorite tourist destination in England's Lake District. Both classical and whimsical, the geometric topiaries and beautifully cultivated landscapes around the hall enhance the designs of this new collection of 18 vibrant quilts and cushions. As always, the book includes Fassett's detailed step-by-step instructions for each quilt, accompanied by the relevant block- or quilt-assembly diagram; a dedicated how-to section offers detailed guidance for sewing and assembling the blocks into finished quilts, plus a section on basic patchwork techniques for less-experienced quilters.
