Strippy Quilt as you go workshop with Carolyn Forster on Wednesday 28th October

Finished size: 60 1/2in x 60 1/2in 

 Finished Block size: 12in 

This quilt makes good use of the stitch and flip method or Quilt as you sew method of stitching. The blocks are pieced and stitched to the batting and backing fabric at the same time. This allows the maker to join them together using either of the two methods  with or with out adding any extra quilting.  You could add rows of machine quilting to the blocks or, Big Stitch Hand quilting. Stitching lines of multi colored Herringbone stitch gives this quilt an extra dimension and is easily worked before the blocks are put together. 
You can make the blocks on the day or brong blocks that you already have.

More requirements will be sent nearer the day.
