Beyond the 9 Patch - Simple blocks, big impact
This workshop is suitable for confident beginners who have learned the basics and want to grow their confidence and block library.

During the day you will learn how simple blocks using squares and strips can make quilts or cushions that are easy to sew but are beautiful and look more complicated than they really are.

You will learn how to make 2 different blocks - one using squares which are sewn and cut in a number of ways to produce the final block, and one using strips and squares which are then turned to make the design.  With each, fabric choice and block placement has a big impact on the final result.

The fabric quantities you will be given are enough to make a small baby quilt/table topper and cushion front which you will complete at home.
