Please note - by signing up to this workshop - you are booked on both Saturday 5th December and Saturday 6th February 2027

 

Andrea is preparing a pack to include the wool fabric for the flowers and leaves plus the threads needed for the work. This kit does not include the backing fabric , quilting thread or any batting used on day 2.

This workshop is spread over two full days -

Day 1

Is spent learning a variety of stitches for the decoration of the centre of your background fabric. You will not finish this in one day but will have been shown all the techniquies needed to go on anmd complete you piece before returning at the beginning of February. 

The Wool Applique centre piece will need to be completed  ready for the quilting in day 2.

Day 2  

This involves layering up, marking the design and quilting with a walking foot and some free motion quilting. 

During the day, Andrea will discuss thread choices and give advice about choices of quilt design.

         *Suitable for Beginners Plus - those of you with some experience

          Please note: This workshop is not suitable for anyone under 18.
